Our client is looking for an individual who can confidently demonstrate a track record in Machine Learning, with proficiency with a deep learning framework (such as TensorFlow or Keras), as well as skills in Java, Python and basic libraries for machine learning (such as scikit-learn and pandas).
They are looking for expertise in visualising and manipulating big datasets, APIs, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker and an ability to select hardware to run a Machine Learning model with the required latency.
The Machine Learning consultant should be current with latest Machine learning algorithms& methods and be able to share knowledge with colleagues in data science and technology and externally as appropriate.
You will need to be ambitious, keen to learn & develop at pace and our client will provide you the support and training to achieve this.
Job role responsibilities:
Our client continues to grow at a pace and a Lead Consultant opportunity is available to help build Machine Learning infrastructure, data pipelines and API integrations, an ideal role for an expert in machine learning to help extract value from data.
The Machine Learning SME will typically lead all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing, to training models and deploying them to production. One could design and implement efficient pipelines using data exploration and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to deliver custom, scalable deep learning, and NLP solutions through prototyping, POC, and quantitative metrics.
The Machine Learning engineer will study and analyse problems, propose solutions and design experiments, whilst understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with associated metrics.
A key component will be to deploy and productionise models and run/monitor model performance; an ability to analyse Machine Learning algorithms to be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability is sought.
The Machine Learning consultant will also explore and visualise data, identify differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world, and verify the data plus supervise data acquisition process if more data is needed. Other duties could entail defining validation strategies, augmentation pipelines, tuning hyper-parameters and deploying models into production.
