The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, control, and switching of high voltage (HV) electrical networks, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Senior Authorized Person for high voltage systems, ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Perform and oversee switching operations on high voltage networks in accordance with approved procedures.

The employer is a Midlands-based Mechanical and Electrical design and build contractor operating across multifaceted industrial and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management, coordination, installation, and commissioning of Mechanical HVAC systems within commercial and industrial buildings, with project values typically ranging from circa £50k to £5m+.
This role includes the development of system specifications, preparation and oversight of construction drawings and documentation, and the coordination and integration of contractors and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC principles and practices.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager, with a bias with sprinkler systems, to oversee and coordinate Mechanical subcontractors.

While this is a building fit-out project, the client environment is linked to the rail sector, so experience working on Network Rail or similar regulated infrastructure projects is highly desirable. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity starting as a 6-week contract, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
