A project can have plenty of electricians on site and still be short of the one skill set that determines whether it can be signed off: competent inspection and testing. That gap becomes painfully visible at handover. Circuits may be installed, accessories fitted and plant connected, but practical completion can stall while the team waits for testing, certification, remedial work and retests. The result is pressure on the programme, delayed handover and, potentially, postponed revenue recognition.
