Project Engineer (SM11)

We are seeking 4 experienced and driven Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across Midlands, Anglia and the Southwest. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong engineering background and proven experience working on high-value, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects across multiple sites
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and delivery
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Support procurement activities and subcontractor management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation

Key Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline)
• Proven experience working on high-value infrastructure or construction projects
• Strong understanding of project engineering principles and delivery processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage competing priorities

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience working on major UK infrastructure or energy projects
• Ductwork experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Experience with project management tools and software
