Typically, your team projects will cover: Energy Calculations (Part L), Air Pressure Testing, Dynamic Energy Modelling (Part L and Part O), Heat Loss Calculations, Thermal Bridging Calculations, PAS 2035 Retrofit Design & Coordination, PassivHaus Design, Heat Decarbonisation Planning and Project Management Support Actvities. You will develop your existing knowledge and skills in energy modelling and assist with the development of energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings. THE ROLE:  Taking a leading role in the Low Energy Building Design Team  Defining and updating Low Energy Building Design strategy  Completng Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4)  Supporting the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and Building Services team  Supporting the construction process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams  Acting as a mento for junior, graduate and placement energy consultants  Providing subject matter expert knowledge in Low Energy Building Design  Developing and improving technical systems in the business  Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and experts.  Review and appraise Low Energy Building Consultants & Contractors WE ARE LOOKING FOR KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS IN SOME OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:  Domes􀆟c and Commercial Building Energy Models  Part L Calcula􀆟ons (SAP / SBEM)  Part L Air Pressure Testing (ATTMA)  BREEAM Certification (BRE)  Part O Overheating Calculations (TM59 / TM52)  Dynamic Energy Modelling (IES VE)  U-Value & Thermal Bridging Calcula􀆟ons (THERM)  Retrofit Design & Coordinator Actvities (PAS2035)  Heat Decarbonisaton Planning (Public Sector PSDS)  Moisture Risk Analysis (WUFI)  PassivHaus Principles and / or Design (PassivHaus & EnerPHit)  Specialist Survey Experience: Damp Proof Surveying, Thermal Imaging Assessments TO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED:  Minimum 5 years' experience in Low Energy Building Design / Energy Consulting within the building sector  Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior posi􀆟on  Member of a recognised professional body (or working towards membership).

This role is about ownership: leading electrical building services design, providing technical oversight, working closely with clients and project teams, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across domestic, commercial and public sector buildings.Typically, your projects will cover: Heatng Systems Design, Hot & Cold Water Design, Ventilation and Heat Recovery Systems Design, Above Ground Drainage Systems Design, HVAC Systems Design, HVAC Controlsystems, Air conditoning & Cooling Systems Design, Mechanical Plant Room Design and Air Source and Ground Source Systems Design. THE ROLE:  Providing Electrical Services Design to Low Energy Buildings (Domes􀆟c, Commercial and Public Building Sectors)  Leading Electrical Building Services Design projects through all RIBA stages 1-6  Suppor􀆟ng the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and services team  Suppor􀆟ng the construc􀆟on process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams  Suppor􀆟ng Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4) and technical teams  Produce, review, and approve calcula􀆟ons, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.  Providing subject ma􀆩er expert knowledge on Electrical Engineering Design  Acting as a mentor for Junior Electrical Engineers  Developing and improving technical systems in the business  Developing and maintaining relatonships with clients, suppliers and experts WE ARE LOOKING FOR SKILLS IN SOME OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:  Internal, External and Emergency Lighting Design  Small Power and Data System Design  Fire & Security Systems Design  Cable Containment Design  LV Electrical Distribu􀆟on  HV Electrical Distribution  Cable Sizing and Amtech Calculations  Lightning Protection Systems  Electrical Plant Room Design  Solar Photovoltaic Systems Design  Battery Storage Systems Design  Dialux  Revit TO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED:  Chartered Electrical Engineer  Member of a recognised professional body e.
