While this is a building fit-out project, the client environment is linked to the rail sector, so experience working on Network Rail or similar regulated infrastructure projects is highly desirable. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity starting as a 6-week contract, with potential for extension. We are seeking 4 experienced and driven Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across Midlands, Anglia and the Southwest. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong engineering background and proven experience working on high-value, complex projects.

Role Positioning You'll be responsible for managing and delivering either a large, complex project or a number of smaller projects at the same time, making sure both the client and the business are fully satisfied with the outcome. Your involvement could start as early as the tender or negotiation stage and carry right through to delivery on site. You'll take ownership for the scope, programme, quality, and budget, acting as the main point of accountability throughout. The role will see you leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, from engineering and commercial to procurement, construction, and commissioning, to ensure everything comes together successfully.

Must be able to Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems, including splits, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure equipment operates at optimum performance. Support the delivery of SLAs by responding to client callouts within agreed timeframes. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards and site-specific requirements.
